About
neighborhood comfort
This little gem of a wine bar could be habit-forming. Located on the corner of Pacific Avenue and Hyde Street in Russian Hill, Café Meuse offers an international selection of wine and beer. Our seasonal menu offers a variety of delicious small plates as well as a selection of gourmet meats and cheeses to be paired with the perfect beverage. Hand-made tables and a custom-built bar are a few of the personalized touches that makes Cafe Meuse so warm and inviting. Staying true to its neighborhood roots, prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and attentive.
Cafe Meuse opened its doors for the first time in February of 2006. Business owner and long time San Francisco resident, Eric Meuse, is a graduate of USC’s school of business and has been in the Food & Beverage Hospitality Industry in San Francisco for many years. In August of 2006, Chef Victor joined the Cafe Meuse team and has been carefully curating and perfecting the small plates menu ever since. Victor’s culinary expertise paired with a broad selection of palatable wine is just one of the many reasons this neighborhood staple is a must-try, whether you’re just visiting or a long-time San Francisco resident yourself.
